These Calculation options, when selected, become calculation defaults. They affect every chart unless overridden in the Enter Chart Data menu.

The Input Tab is where you set data input options (for the Enter Chart Data menu). Included are such items as name entry (Las name, First or First name, Last, etc.), toggles for 12- or 24-hour time, longitude and latitude defaults (East or West, North or South), and so forth. Selections made here will be reflected in the Enter Chart Data menu and will remain the defaults until changed here.

The Current Place tab sets the default place for the program.
Your atlas will be hooked to this dialog for instant location information.
Just enter the desired location information and it will automatically appear when entering Chart Data.

Use Color tab to choose the colors used for glyphs, aspect lines, planets, and houses.
Custom colors can be added to current color palette or new palette can be created.
Win*Star is shipped with several color palettes created according to traditional astrological color symbolism.

Use the Aspects tab (of the Win*Star Options menu) to edit and create the aspect sets used in Win*Star.
Ten sets come with the program. This menu provides for creating new sets and/or aspects. Plus, you can alter sets as desired.

Use the Atlas setup tab to select the atlas used.
Win*Star is shipped with the Matrix Win*Atlas installed.

This menu is used to assign chart forms to form-generating Technique icon buttons and to access other menus involved in specifying form options and editing Chart Form Folder and Chart Form Sets.
