About Nancy Garen
		At 13, Nancy Garen, author of Matrix Software's Professional Tarot program, began studying Tarot, numerology, astrology, and just about every other spiritual/metaphysical book or quest she could get her hands on. For the next 10 to 15 years, she continued studying Eastern and Western religions and Science of Mind-type philosophies and meditated a great deal. During this time, she set out to write her first book, Creating Your Own Tarot Cards. After a stint as a Makeup Artist in the motion picture industry, she soon decided to devote her life to the study and practice of metaphysics. Garen's first "professional psychic" job was at Inner Perceptions in Studio City, and after that closed, she joined Jim Watson at the Metaphysical ESP Center in Los Angeles. Over the next few years, Garen taught Tarot, psychic development, and Numerology. Garen's years of studying Tarot made her realize that she had to discover the answers herself, that books never answered her specific questions. So she began researching and writing her second book Tarot Made Easy. She interpreted the cards so that they had sections for any categorical question you could think of – love, health, money, guidance, etc. After about 12 years of research, Garen completed her book, which then became the basis for Matrix Software's Professional Tarot program. After leaving Los Angeles, Garen worked as a radio psychic, continued teaching Tarot and ESP classes, and wrote and published a new workbook called The Tarot According To You.

1 – Let the computer deal for you.

2 – Select each card one at a time.

3 – Re-create past deals by placing the card of your choice in any position on the spread.

Name and save spreads and interpretations for later recall complete with your own notes and comments.

Astrological Keys:

This option adds an astrological association next to the card name in the Show Cards window.

 

32 Questions & Categories:

You an add additional Categories to the current Question. When you click a card to get its reading, that reading will have text for each selected category, in addition to the default categories assigned to that card/spread scenario.

 

On-screen Reading:

The Show Cards window displays the current Tarot card reading. On this window you can click next or previous buttons to display the next or previous card.

 

Show Report:

The Show Report window displays the entire current Tarot reading – graphics and text – in a scrollable window on-screen. You can print, Save, or Load a previously saved report from this window.

 

Print Report:

Use the Print Report option to send the current report to your printer. Before printing, add a name for the report and the Question or Comment for that report. These headings will be added to the printed report.

Also you can Print the current Reading Layout. The top of the page includes the reading name and comment text which you can edit.

 

Spread Editor:
(Available in Commercial Edition Only)

With the Spread Designer you can edit the selected spread or create a new spread.

You can change card labels and the category related to that card, edit a current spread, create an entirely new spread, change card positions, change the dealing order for that card.

 

RTF or HTML Format:
(Available in Commercial Edition Only)

Web entrepreneurs you'll love this feature in the Commercially Licensed Edition of the program. Deliver your customer's report via e-mail or to their browser.

– RTF file formatting is accepted by most word processors and permits enhanced text features such as bold, italics, and paragraph formatting.

– HTML file permits you to open that file online with your web browser. You can upload the saved HTML file to your website for online presentation. The images can be stored on a server, dramatically speeding delivey times by reducing the size of the file you are sending.

 

Table-Tops:

You can change the background appearance of your Tarot screen. There are over 72 graphics to choose from and you can set the foreground and background colors.
