4 articles for "Grand"

Grand Cross [Astro*Index]

Four bodies positioned so that 3 bodies are, approximately, 90°, 180°, and 270° from one of the bodies.

Thus placed, 2 oppositions and 4 T-squares are formed. Also called a cosmic cross. Opinions differ as to whether it should be interpreted as an exceptional cosmic cross, and thus dynamic, energetic, and extroverted, or as "too much of a good thing", and tending toward diffusion. Astrologers consider this configuration to increase the strength of all four bodies.
