Stalling or locking up during installs:
The likely cause of this issue is that you have a program that is blocking our installer from running. This may be a background program or spyware etc. If you do have an anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, etc. running try disabling them temporarily and see if that helps.
If your machine is freezing while trying to copy fonts and the above suggestion does not help and you continue to get the error it may be a Fonts Issue.
If you do not have anti-virus or anti-spyware software on your computer we recommend AVG Anti-virus and Spybot S&D and MS Anti-Spyware. They are available at the below links and they are free:
It is important to make sure your machine is free of nefarious programs, viruses, etc.
Software Firewalls Programs such as ZoneAlarm can also block the the security software from running. Be sure to not just allow our software to access the internet but also to remember the action. In some cases unless you check off "Remember" internet access is still partially blocked. You want to consider closing Zonealarm before running the install. As the installer reboots when done ZoneAlarm will not be down for long.
In order to by pass any other program that might be blocking our install software we need to close any programs in your system tray. The system tray is the right most part of your "Start Bar" where you see the day of the week and the time:
Right click on each icon and choose "Close", "Exit", or "Quit". Some of them such as the speaker icon you may not be able to close. Just close what you can. Now try the install again.
If it fails then try this:
Go to Start > Run > and type "msconfig"
You will then get this window:
If it is set to "Normal Startup" as shown. Then just set it to Diagnostic Startup and click ok:
Once the machine has booted back up go ahead and try installing the software again.
If the machine was set to:
Then you need to go to the startup tab and write down all of the checked startup items (Just the first column):

When done you can go back to the General Tab and choose Diagnostic Startup and click ok:

Once the machine has booted back up go ahead and try installing the software again.
If the install was successful please go back into Start > Run > MSConfig and set everything back the way it was before.
