Activation Issues:
Note: If you are using an eastern language (Mandarin, Japanese, etc.) you may need to change your language settings before activating your software. If you do, you will likely also have to switch your language settings before using the software each time as well. On changing your language settings.
Activation Error Messages
- SC 001 - Application Installation Failed
In most cases this simply means the software is not activated. Please rerun the install and activate the software.
- SI 001 / 002 Invalid Order Number or Invalid Customer Number
Double check what you have typed in and try again.
- SQ 001 / 002 - Customer Number Missing or Order Number Missing
You need to type in the missing information.
- SI 003 - Internet Connection - An internet connection does not seem to be present
The activation program cannot access the internet. Please use alternate activation instead.
- SI 007 - Unauthorized Request - This Order / Customer Number has been previously used on another computer.
You have used all of your automatic activations. Use Alternate Action instead.
- SC 009 - Invalid Product - We were unable to verify
You are trying to activate a program you do not own or there was a communications issue. Please double check what you are activating and cancel or use Alternate Activation.
- Invalid Request - Reg 5
Might be an issue with your computers date and time. Double check it is correct or try alternate activation. OR See "SI 007" above.
For the following installation errors you will have to reset the license and reinstall.
If you are using a cd or download link created after September 2007, you can run the program "Attribsecn" in the Matrix folder to reset the license. If you are using an older cd or saved download see here.
- SC 011 - Licensing Error - License file KEYS unmatched.
- SC 012 - Licensing Error - Missing local license file.
- SC 013 - Licensing Error - Missing remote license file.
- SC 014 - Licensing Error - License comparison failed.
