Book Name Planets on the Move

- copyright by Maritha  Pottenger
If you’ve ever wondered about the ins and outs and how-tos of chart relocation, this book will fill you in on everything you need to know. It’s all there, from calculating the relocated chart to interpreting it. Easy to understand, it can enlighten anyone from the astrological beginner to the professional.

To their tremendous credit, the authors clarify the question of time, which is often overlooked in discussions of relocation. For example, if you were born at 2:30 p.m. in New York (Eastern Standard Time) and subsequently moved to Los Angeles, what time would you use for the relocated chart? The Los Angeles equivalent - 11:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.

The case studies included focus on well-known people in today’s headlines, such as Bill Clinton, General Norman Schwarzkopf, David Koresh, Michael Milken, Ross Perot, and O.J. Simpson. Some are relocated to several areas where significant events in their lives took place.

The major portion of Planets on the Move is devoted to explicit, detailed delineation of various aspects to the Midheaven and Ascendant, and planetary house placements, so you can interpret your own relocated chart. What happens when the ruler of your Midheaven changes from the eighth house to the seventh? Or when your Aries Ascendant becomes a Cancer Ascendant? This book will answer these questions and more.

The book concludes with what the authors call "instant" relocations for specific questions. Here you’ll find general planetary indicators that, when in aspect to the Ascendant or Midheaven or when placed in certain houses, are conducive to positive relationships, career success, home and family, monetary gain, and others.
