Twin Daughters of President Bush.
|
Jenna & Barbara Bush
by John Townley
They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, but when you’ve got two trees (W. and Laura) and two apples (fraternal twins Barbara and Jenna Bush), the question is who fell from which tree, and just how far away?
In this case, it’s a bit of a mix, but an expected one, as these apples are mainly from mom, with whom they have their peppy and sometimes impertinent Sun-Uranus in Sagittarius linked directly to Laura Bush’s smart-and-sexy Venus-Mars-Mercury conjunction in late Scorpio and early Sadge. Where they overlap their dad is on their Saturn (very fatherly, on his Moon) and Vertex (on his Venus), where his ambitions have forever earmarked their destiny.
Where they’re totally on their own is on the two ends of their tight bundle chart, where a Venus-Mars trine encloses everything else. These girls are hot and they know it, but they’re also very much at ease with it, a spin-off from their mom’s intelligent handling of inborn but later-muted star power. Moreover, that bundle chart means they’re really into their own trips and don’t need others to fulfill their own needs and ambitions. Chiron fans might say that can be a little painful, as if you put in that planetoid it becomes the handle of a fan chart (at 19 Taurus) meaning it can be a sometimes painful but wisdom-forming experience growing up under those conditions.
It can also lead to sharing that grand earth trine (Chiron-Venus-Mars) urge to support and teach, which Jenna has done, working with UNICEF, while Barbara (the older by one minute) has involved herself helping AIDS patients in Africa. Being twins, there’s great similarity, but being fraternal rather than identical, it’s more like just being sisters with the same horoscope rather than genetic clones.
Current events: Next year is going to see them much more in the spotlight, going through a lot of personal changes, as their progressed Sun moves into Capricorn with transiting Pluto and Jupiter right on top of it. And with that Jupiter spending the rest of 2008 on or around their Ascendant, they can’t help but find themselves before the public at the forefront of whatever it is they decide to do, both getting serious, changing inner attitude, and having to be public about it all at the same time.
